Jackson Bottom

Milkweed.
We visited Jackson Bottom Wetlands Preserve to see what we would find at the end of summer.  As fall arrives, the wetlands will once again be full of water and the raucous music of the fall bird migration. But for now, it's still about as dry as it will get!

Jasper spotted this large garter snake curving through the tall grass.
