Cooper Mountain

Cooper Mountain Nature Park can be rather hot and dry in the summer.  The rest of the year it beckons.  We went there for a ramble to see what we could see.  

Oak galls.

There are a couple of these listening tubes in the park.  Of course kids find it irresistible to holler into them instead.

Robin.

The pond.  In the summer it dries up completely, but it's certainly back now.
