Reptile Joy

We love all things scaly and slithery, so the Pacific Northwest Reptile and Exotic Animal Show was not something we were going to miss!  There were lots of snakes displayed like exotic jewelry, lots of beautiful lizards in fancy enclosures, and lots of surprises.  Here are a few pictures.

Jasper was thrilled to pet a hedgehog!  

This is a GMO axolotl, a salamander with jellyfish genes that glows green under a blacklight.  Probably not a trait that would come in handy often in the wild? They were being sold by World of Wet  Pets of Beaverton.  (You know you want one!)
