Chicago

Our motel had a resident bunny.
We've been traveling. We went to Chicago where we met up with Jasper's grandparents and painted the town red!  We saw a game at Wrigley Field and Jasper got to run the bases afterwards.  We did lots of sightseeing. And we did lots of eating!  If you are thinking of going to Chicago, what could be more important than finding great meals?  Jasper's daddy has been craving a real pastrami sandwich, and was really really hoping we could get one in Chicago.  The sandwiches at Perry's Deli did not disappoint! Yowza!  They were good!  We also loved the outrageous food at Red Apple Buffet. Polish food is quite filling, and I have decided that serving Polish food at an all you can eat buffet is a completely absurd idea.  Especially such excellent food.  We were all telling each other about all the wonderful things that couldn't be missed, and knowing that we wouldn't be coming back, it was hard to resist.  We had a very nice breakfast at Ann Sather in Swedish Andersonville (I had Swedish pancakes, of course!). And we had a dinner to die for at Mabenka Lithuanian restaurant.  This is another place which is best enjoyed after eating naught but celery for a week or so beforehand, because the food is very, very good and the portions are simply enormous.  We also had a lovely dinner in Chinatown at Ming Hin.  Chicago is a delicious town!
