Tryon Creek
We went for a fall ramble at stunning Tryon Creek State Park, which is truly one of Portland's jewels. Every time we go there, I am astounded by this oasis of tranquility within the city. The forest was bursting into the fall blooming season- with mushrooms! These mushrooms are signs of vast subterranean networks of mycelium, lurking invisibly beneath the surface... amazing!
