Vasquez Rocks

 Vasquez Rocks Natural Area really must be the best playground in LA County.  The landscape is full of wild and beautiful rock formations that are perfect for climbing and exploring.  The park was named for a notorious bandit that used the rocks for a hideout.  It's a  wonderful place to have a break from the city and find a sense of place if you are visiting Los Angeles.
