Tryon Creek

We have been having some lovely fall weather.  One day, Tryon Creek State Park was calling to us. Tryon Creek is a perennial Portland favorite.  How many large cities have state parks within their city limits?  We are lucky!  Tryon Creek offers lots of great environmental education programs all year long, contains a lovely visitor center, and it's especially enjoyed by dogs (on leashes) and equestrians (on special trails).  We found mushrooms beginning to sprout and wooly worms appearing in their banded glory.
