Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden

I love this park.  It's one of Portland's gems.  Right now the rhododendrons are in full bloom and are truly spectacular.  But it's always a wonderful place to see all kinds of ducks and geese.  Before long, the park will be thronging with ducklings and goslings. We visited with friends from our homeschool group, brought some duck food, and made some new feathered friends.  On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the park is free, but other days there is a $3 admission charge for folks over 12.  There is a small waterfall with stepping stones that kids find irresistible, so I always  bring a change of clothes with me! http://www.portlandonline.com/parks/finder/index.cfm?PropertyID=27&action=ViewPark
