Camassia Natural Area
Camassia Natural Area is a jewel at any time of the year, and most especially in the spring. The camas flowers for which the park is named bloom in a carpet of blue. We stopped by just to see them. Its bulbs were a staple of the diet of Native Americans, and they fed camas to Lewis and Clark.
