Wahclella Falls Trail is an easy hike in the Columbia River Gorge that leads to a stunning waterfall. It follows Tanner Creek, and this time of year, salmon are easily spotted. Jasper is always on the look for creepy crawlies, and to his delight, he found two fuzzy caterpillars. This is a gem of a hike, with minimal effort and big payoff. A Northwest Forest Pass is required; you can use a self-pay box in the parking lot ($5, bring exact change) or get one online before you go.
