Enchanted Forest
The Enchanted Forest is an amusement park like no other. It sprung from the heart and hands of Roger Tofte, opening after 7 years of labor in 1971, and continues to be run by Roger and his family. It is a testament to the power of one person's vision and creativity. And it's wonderful! This was a great year for us to go. My son is not yet too tall or heavy for the kiddie rides he loves, and tall enough to ride the other rides with an adult. I will truly be sad when he's too old to find the thrill in sliding out of a giant shoe. They have some thrilling rides as well, and this year I double-dog-dared Jasper to go through the Haunted House with me, and he survived!
