Wapato Access Greenway

We went on a ramble around Lake Victoria at Wapato Access Greenway with our friends Michael and his son Patrick and daughter Afton. Wapato is a small state park on Sauvie Island that does not require the Sauvie Island parking permit, and it's a popular spot for exploring and birding. It was a beautiful clear winter day.  We've had more than our share of those lately, and Lake Victoria was rather low.  We saw some lovely things and enjoyed some lovely company!
A pair of American widgeons.
Michael found a Pacific chorus frog.
Patrick found raccoon prints.
The Multnomah Channel.
A little bushtit.
Soaring away...
Double-crested cormorants in the Multnomah Channel.
