We have been having some unusual fall weather here, with day after day of sunshine. Although the weather has been cold, we've been taking advantage of the sunshine and getting outside as much as possible. We went back to
Eagle Creek Trailhead to see what the salmon are up to now. We found them there in large numbers, going about their business in the chilly water. This is a perfect place for salmon viewing. The creek is narrow enough to easily see from bank to bank, and shallow enough to see right to the bottom of the clear water. It's simple to get to the water and see the salmon up close.
