Automorphosis

I took a cute guy on a date to see Harrod Blank's documentary about art cars, "Wild Wheels", about 18 years ago.  We had a great time!  Now Mr. Blank is back with another, "Automorphosis", and my cute date came with me again.  (He married me even though I kept dragging him to weird events!)   Mr. Blank is in town and attending all the screenings at the Clinton Street Theatre in SE, http://www.clintonsttheater.com/, 7 and 9PM, through Wednesday (Thursday the film will show but he says he simply must go see the Enchanted Forest while he's in Oregon.  Not a bad idea!)  Tickets are $6 adults, $5 students with ID, and $3 for kids 12 and under, cash only.  This film is not just an enthusiastic display of joyful, exuberant vehicles that will make everyone smile, it's also a philosophical look at rebelling against an increasingly homogeneous society.   Jasper loved it, and you would too!  Afterwards, Mr. Blank really seemed to enjoy answering every question, from the curious to the deeply philosophical!  You can learn more about this creative genius here:  http://www.harrodblank.com/  Above, Jasper with the director's famous car, the Oh My God!, which has that phrase written in many languages on the hood.
