We love the
Oregon International Air Show! We like to go to the Friday evening shows, instead of the weekend shows, because it's much cooler in the evening, the acts come one after another without breaks in between, and it's followed by fireworks and pyrotechnics! (The pyrotechnics are giant balls of fire.) This year the fireworks were really fun to take pictures of. Even with a kid who insisted on a piggyback ride for most of the show! This year, the air show was my wakeup call- "Hey there! It's still the summer...but it's going fast! Make the most of it!"

| US Marine Corps AV-8B Harrier II. This thing could hover in midair, turn 360 degrees, then jet off into the horizon. It was incredibly loud! |
| Green tongue disease- caught from a lime shaved ice! |
| The moon tried to steal the show. |
| We could feel the heat from the pyrotechnics. |
