Cascades Raptor Center

If you are fond of magnificent birds of prey, the Cascades Raptor Center in Eugene is a marvelous place to visit.  They have about 60 raptors that are unreleasable for various reasons.  Most were found with injuries that could not be fully healed, and others were bread in captivity.   They live in spacious outdoor enclosures that  the public is welcome to see. It is really thrilling to see them up close.  

Ravi the Western screech owl greeted us in the Visitor's Center.
