Joseph Wood Hill Park

Joseph Wood Hill Park at Rocky Butte has one of the best views in all of Portland.  (Another amazing view is from the Portland Tram.)  If you find yourself in NE on a clear day, you owe it to yourself to stop and marvel.  There is lots of parking right underneath the viewing area, which reminds me of the viewing area around Vista House in the gorge. We came on a somewhat hazy day, so instead of clear views of the various surrounding volcanoes, we had clear views of the city skyline, the Fremont Bridge...and the Portland airport and IKEA store!  Jasper thought it was really hilarious to have a nice view of the latter two and took lots of photos of them.
