Hoyt Arboretum

The magnolias are amazing at Hoyt Arboretum.  We went there to bask in the blossoms.  Magnolias are some of the very oldest flowers on earth, evolving long before bees. They are instead pollinated by beetles. It's fun to imagine dinosaurs hanging out amongst the trees, as they did long ago.
