Dragon Theater Puppets

A homeless guy who plays an innocent bystander.
Ping Pong's Pint Size Puppet Museum, which just opened in Sellwood, is now a venue for seeing fantastic puppet shows.  The inaugural show was "Dracula Re-vamped" with Dragon Theater Puppets. All of their shows have a madcap energy that we find hysterical.  This story featured the pantheon of famous movie monsters in an adventure together.  As usual, one of the best parts is at the very end, when puppeteer Jason Ropp tells the kids all about how he did every aspect of the puppet show himself, including how to make different silly voices, and how he made the puppets themselves by hand. I love to take Jasper to these shows, because the message is, "You can do this too!"   Dragon Theater Puppets will have lots of shows there and all over this summer- check the calendar on their website for details.
The Creature from the Blue Lagoon.
Igor.
The Bride of Frankenstein.
The Mummy.

Yes, Jason said the lagoon was definitely blue and not black, because his creature has romance in his heart.
