Dry Creek Falls

Dry Creek Falls is a stunning waterfall that is reached from the Pacific Crest Trail, a short distance from the trailhead at the Bridge of the Gods.  We went searching for it recently and found some beautiful things on the way.
An elk skull? marking the trailhead.
Hairy cat's ear.
Tiger lilies.
Threads of mycelium? slime mold? in bright yellow, found under a log.
Indian pipe.
Red columbine.
Twinflower.
Cow-parsnip.
Speckled green fruitworm moth.
An old dam, used to bring water to Cascade Locks.
Jasper waving hello.  He's expecting a friend who is hiking the
Pacific Crest Trail to pass through here.
Cyanide millipede.
Jasper wanted to take a picture too, but his squirrel is possessed!
A handsome weevil.
Blue lupine.
Oxeye daisy.
